Default 180 FWD tiptronic - downpipe options?

I'm looking for a downpipe for fwd auto TT. What are the options? Will 225 downpipes fit this car?
Thanks in advance!

The fwd dp's are all the same, manual and auto. You can get a good quality dp off ebay for about $100

I have the 42DD DP on my fwd TT Tip. It is very nice and I got one with the cat. I think you could make a cat work with the ebay as well.

Thanks.
I think I will go with 42DD w/cat.
What is the power can I get with downpipe and chip tuning?
I'm buying this car (2005 tt fwd auto) for my wife but will drive it couple of days a week as well. 180hp feels too low - my car is allroad 4.2 apr chipped and according to my g-timer i'm getting around 6.1sec 0-60. Will tt be much slower?
Oh, and will it get much louder with the downpipe? I'm planning to keep the stock exhaust, or it's not a good idea?

You can actually get a ebay 3" dp and 42dd cat and end section for less than a 42dd by itself.

They car will be slower than a manual, but a great improvement with a chip and dp. It should be close to those numbers also. The exhaust wont really be louder since you will still have a cat. And yes, it would be wise to increase the rest of the exhaust to get the full benifits of both chip and dp

i cant see where you can order the cat individually.

I have a cel for my cat, dealership said it needs to be replaced, i wonder if it has anythin to do with the DP? only 30k miles on the car.

I find it hard to believe many things that a dealer says you need to replace. If you got a $99 ebay dp, it didnt come with a cat.

If you got the 3" 2 peice dp, you can use 42dd stuff. For some reason they dont have any cats posted right now, but im sure you can get one if you call them. It comes to about $50-100 cheaper this way if you need a cat in your area
