Default 180 to 225 exhaust conversion

hey everyone. i have a 2000 audi tt. 1.8L and its not a quattro. im looking to convert the single exhaust to make it a dual like the 225. i looked under my car tho and i think the spare tire is right in the middle of the back of the car so i dont c how the muffler is going to fit there. yet i have heard of people doing it. any recomendations? also im not sure on which exhausts are the most affordable cuz everything i have seen runs in the thousands and i wasnt really planning on spending that much. thanx everyone

Only real option is a milltek exhaust from stratmosphere.com or a remus exhaust, which are hard to find. Not the best performing designs, but functionality isnt what your looking for in this case i guess.

i checked those but they are incredibly expensive for me. im coming to the conclusion that i might have to just stay with the single exhaust. any tips on an affordable...or at least cheaper than the remus or miltek. those things r running up to a thousand. i could get rims with that lol

Those are the best solutions, as sad as they are. 180's with duals are just possers anyways You have to let them know a 180 beat them

Single tip's can move sometimes. - With the right mods!

Last night I saw my TT light up in my drive way....lights turned on...watched the xeon lights flash the garage...watched the little reverse lights come on...watched the break lights come up...then watched her drive down the streat.

Beautiful....nothing I love more than seeing my TT - Just take off....its fun... they're just cool to see driving around... the curves are brilliant!

Anyways...I didn't even notice it was a single tip - look the same to me! hahah

Just get a nice borla exhaust system and you'll be right as rain....plus it sounds sexy - Rev that baby up...it might even give you a hard on. haha. [:-]
