Default 1.8T & Nos

Any of you guys/gals with a 1.8 TT running nos? If so were you able to find a pre made kit or did you cobble cob one together?
I'm interested in 50 - 75 shot. To much? Not enough? Any input apprecaited.

Why the frown on gas? To hard to hook up? or is it cause it's associated with the rice boys?

I see. I did find on some other forum sites that "some guys" do and have played with N20 and have some good technical wrtite ups on how to install it on a TT. Yes NOS is assocaited with rice boys must most of them don't know how to use it

Personally in my opinion if you are putting NOS on a Turbocharged car you are asking for trouble.
You are adding a poweradded on top of an existing poweradder. Not saying it can't be done but why risk
blowing up your car for a measly 50 - 75 HP especially if a retune via a chip or Revo ECU Tune can gain you
the same amount of Ponies for a lot less trouble. Just doesn't make sense.

Up to you but if it were me I would go with a REVO swappable Tune with a Stage 3 chip that lets you adjust the
boost and timing to your hearts contend. Put a TTDA intake along with a BAMM MAF and a Boost Machine along
with a Forge DV and you will be putting 300+ Ponies to the ground. More than any NOS setup will give you and
a lot safer.

Does anyone else see "nos" and think of 2F2F or underbody neons or flames shooting out of tail pipes? Sorry, nobody calls it nitrous anymore. It's all nawwwws.

Anyway, the stay on topic. What would you plan to do to your ignition timing and fuel delivery to keep up with the nitrous? Your car's computer can read air flow and pressure, but it's assuming that it is ambient air, not some other form of gas. Also, your timing setup in your car is not user adjustable, so you have to go to the chip. Are you going to have a custom chip made to run nitrous? I look at it like this, your car uses three things to make power: air, fuel, and spark (timing). You're going to add more air, but that's only a third of the equation. Just trying to bring up some more points to keep this topic afloat since it's a good one.
