i was pondering something...


how would a +0 offset fair on our TT's? Quattro at that?

for example:

16x8, et+0 ? fitment?

Pokeage...

15mm poke up front, 10mm poke in rear.

From what I gather, the mounting hub surface on the TT is roughly 92mm inside the wheelwell on the front and 98mm inside the wheelwell in the rear. You can base calculations off that.

For instance, my 8.5" ET35 wheels with ET +35...

8.5"=215mm
1/2 * 215mm =107.5mm
+35mm offset = 72.5mm of wheel on the outside of the hub

So you still have about a 20mm gap till the edge of the fender.

That depends on the design of the wheel, typically...like how thick the spokes are etc.

I did my wheel spacers and got rid of the gap. Best $275 I spent on my car. I love the way it looks.

I think they'd look odd on a TT...much more of an old school dub style wheel IMO.

how about subaru's 5x100 bolt patter with 45 offset?

How would that look like? Is it possible to fit the rubaru rims?

^yea, wrx wheels look like **** though.. my opinion, i know this cause me and my bro who has a wrx swapped wheels for a bit
