This is the only weld. It's an aluminum MAP sensor flange. All the other piping is cut, deburred, filed, etc.

Definitely fab your own kit. Not sure about your knowledge or experience, but it is easy and rewarding. Mine took me about 5 hrs start to finish including bumper removal and reassembly. Not everyone has a tig handy though. Any local machine shop or such would weld that flange for you.

Nice car Mk1. What core did you use? Did you just bend all that pipe or did you buy pre bent pipes?

I think you need some hardwiring though

Thanks man.. I cant hardwire a usb and 3.5mini cable lol But I can sure hide it better huh? I'll work on that soon..it's a rat nest. I had prebent piping laying around. Just cut it to fit. Any piping kit on ebay would work..60-100 bucks. I got the core from Just-intercoolers. 28x7x2.5 2.5"in/out

Just checked them this morning after putting about 200mi on them this weekend. Everything just as tight as the day I put them on.

Looking to get that ABT Bilstein Combo on vortex. Going to make a decision on it today. Says 1.1 drop with the springs. I guess I could always look at different springs for a larger drop later.
