"Pocketa pocketa noise"
After eight years of Neiman Marcus TT ownership, I still have no clue about this anomoly: I hear a sporadic, but continuing noise from the front passenger's side of my car. I call it a "pocketa pocketa" noixe, because that's what best descibes it. Whether I'm accelerating or decelerating makes no difference. Whether I'm stationary or moving makes no difference. Every once and awhile, for eight years, the noise has been sporadically present. The Audi dealer heard it, but had no clue. Wha?

RE: "Pocketa pocketa noise"
I have a bad leak detection pump- a small vac. pump, (located behind the inner wheel well on that corner of the car), it makes a noise something like that. It starts about 3 minutes after the car is started, pumps down (making noise), until its done whatever vac check it needs to do, then stops. It'll do it again from time to time while I'm driving but not often. Always when starting from cold though.
