"Brake" Problems

RE: "Brake" Problems
you never posted if your brake fluid was dropping or was below the min level. If it is then you might have a leak because i doubt you are driving so aggressively that its boiling. Also, does you car have wear sensors? some cars have it on the pads and that light would be a good indication that you need new pads and then it will go away. And when you install your new brakes, i would flush the system and refill with what xclr8tt listed above.

Ahh, I like your thinking Steve!
Just because I think it's useful:
Boiling Point Ranges
Dry Boiling Point / Wet Boiling Point
DOT 3: 205°C (401°F) / 140°C (284°F)
DOT 4: 230°C (446°F) / 155°C (311°F)
DOT 5: 260°C (500°F) / 180°C (356°F)
DOT 5.1: 270°C (518°F) / 191°C (375°F)

RE: "Brake" Problems
Ok well i'll change out my pads and rotors( i think they're shot) and see if this fixes it . I 'm not sure if i have sensors as i have not checked to see. But i've looked everywhere around here and couldnt even find DOT4 brake fluid. I woul like to upgrade but right now i dont have the cash. I'll have a new CC in a couple of days to afford an upgrade on my rotors and pads but do you think i could wait that long? Would a VAG-Com tell me exactly whats up with my ride?

RE: "Brake" Problems
Steve you mainly use your TT for the track right, so this is why you would want a higher boiling point for your TT just to be on the safe side during races, no sense having to worry about your brakes in a race, just drive right??

RE: "Brake" Problems
No the hazard switch is still messed up, i went to go get it switched and they wanted around $80. I thought that was terrible for a 10 minute job. Do you know where I can get one? I can do the install myself for sure, i have friends that work at audio places to use the head unit keys so thats no prob. Do you think these problems are related?
