Hi. I purchased a 2012 Q7 in November of 2011. My wife and I love it very much so far. That is until a recent repeat issue. About two weeks ago, we came out to a dead battery. Roadside towed the car to my local dealer. They diagnosed it and said something must've been left on. That is the first thing I checked for and didn't see anything. They tried telling me it could've been the cell charger in the cigarette lighter, which is absurd, since the car was only sitting for about 12 hours before I had this isssue. They charged the battery and let it sit at the dealrship over night and said everything is fine.

I just came out to the same problem yesterday, February 5th. When I went inside the car, I heard the DVD player "running". The video wasn't on, but the disc was spinning. I jumped the car and let it run for a while, but wasn't able to restart it after a long ride. I brought the car back into the dealership this morning, after jump starting it.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I am sure it has something to do with the MMI. The dealership installed a remote start for me. Do you think this could be causing the issue, with some type of module, showing the key as being on, even when it's off?

Any thoughts would be great. Thank you!
