Hi, I am sure this has been addressed before, but...been really thinking about a stage one tune for my 2019 Q5...just for more pick up and low end torque. Not racing, not to use and abuse. I know it voids the Audi warranty, but APR offers theirs ($1099). Anyone have any negative experience with a stage one tune (most of what I have read is all positive) or any experience with APR's drivetrain warranty? Cheers and thank you.

 

I put a stage 1 on my old A6 and it was a lot of fun; much more powerful. It also burned out the clutch after less than 10k miles. I replaced it with a stage 3 clutch and new flywheel and drove it another 160k miles. But this was an MT6. There is nothing you can do to beef up the automatic. Caveat emptor.

PS-I also had to replace the diverter ("blow off") valve with a heavier unit.
