hey guys so i want to take the wheels off my gf’s Audi Q3 2020 that she recently just got from Carmax at 40,000 miles (2nd owner) because apparently they changed the brakes with new ones and ever since then she’s been hearing squeaking whenever she brakes (currently at 42,000 miles) not all the time but a good amount of the time. i’d like to get in there and check, apply grease if i need to cause i believe that’s the problem. i don’t believe they changed the rotors but they also don’t look bad.


ive only ever worked on early 2000’s/1990’cars so would i need to do anything different when disassembling the wheel/brake since all these newer cars have more tech?

also what do you guys think would a lack of grease on the pad points, slide pins be making this noise? thanks
