Default Trunk lights don't work... where is the contact switch?

Hi

My trunk lights don't turn on so I would like to know where is the contact switch? Or is it built-in the catch?

Same for the rear doors because the switches are both erratic (when they work)..

thanks

On D2's, it's in the latch in the trunk lid....same for the door mounted latches.

OK so I checked it and the switch works fine + bulbs are fine but they still don't light up.

I've noticed though that when you engage/disengage the latch (toggle the switch) I hear a ''tic'' (relay type of sound) in the central locking pump/module.

Is there a fuse for the trunk lights ?

The central locking/alarm module in the trunk also controls light-off delay on all interior lights....the click is probably the delay-off engaging.

The power for the trunk lights seems to come from that module, not directly from a fuse. Don't know why, but module is either not sending power to lights or bad connection between module and lights...just a guess(?).
