I know have 80k on 2007 a8l

two alignments,,,one upper arm bushing replacement,,,site visit to dealer/they cant solve,,,left front tire is rubbing on top of arm.....causing inside of tire to wear to cord when 40% of tread is used....

Going to put crayon on under side of the upper arm to prove waring on tire....already have pulled off tire rubber on upper arm...but dealer says...i dont know/????

I had Continental contact on our A6 4.2 and had the same issue with inside tire wear, car did not have air suspension. Our new A8L 2007 has Pirelli P6 and they suck, I am replaceing them next week with Michelin (our A6 got new Pirelli P6) when the tire problem occured and they sucked very noisy.

 

I own a 2006 Audi A8L and my front Pirelli P6 tires are chopped up on the edges. They look as if they went through a grinder. The chap at Kal Tire where I had my Haukepelittas put on for the winter said he had never seen such damage before. He also couldn't hazard a guess as to what might have caused it. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

My Pirellis are cut on the outside edges almost as if they had been stiped. Are Pirelli taking any responsibility for these strange wearing patterns.
