Question Noise from the front of the car.

I have an Audi A8 2003 (D3).
Lately I have noticed clack clack noises from the front of the car, close to the wheels when I drive over some bumps, otherwise when driving on a straight road there are no noises. The dynamic air suspension works well and it brings the car up and down depending on the setting.
My question is; if the suspensions are bad or is the problem the control arms or anything else is going on? I appreciate any helpful input.
Thank you,
A.

Does it click when you turn? Like when you're making a sharp turn at mid-to-low speeds?

Yes, but only when I driver over any kind of bump, small or large.
Turning on a even straight road is OK. By the way, my Audi is 2004!
Thank you

Check the control arm upper bushings, the rubber insert in the arm will most likely be split. The control arm is hitting the carrier, is what you are hearing, when you go over the speed bump.

Question Sway bar Links

It seems that The upper and lower control arms was replaced by the former owner at 55k (now it has 100k on it) but the sway bar links are still original. Honestly, I just want a quick fix and trade the car in for a newer one, so I don't see much logical sense to spend 3+k Dollars in repairs, since I won't be able to get the money back. I'm hoping to get the noise fixed by just changing the say bar links!
Thank you,
A.
