Default Major coolant leak/coolant level low error. Safe to drive home?

On my way to work this morning I got the coolant low error on my dash, and noticed my temp gauge was sitting all the way left to the cold side. Once I got to work I also noticed the radiator fan was running. Upon checking the coolant, it was below the MIN level. So, I filled with water, turned on the car, and still got the coolant low error. Probably because it leaked all over the cement under my car

My question is....is it safe to drive home 12.6 miles? Not all of the coolant leaks out, but it does go about 3-4 cm under the MIN level. Temps outside are about 64 degrees, so not super hot.

Take a jug of water with you just in case. put it in the trunk. Check the coolant level every 6 or so miles to be safe. Watch the temp gauge. You should be fine
