Default 85k service

Hello all, this is my first post on Audi Forums, I have searched around but found many of the answer pertain to 04 and older models, I have an A8L (2007) that I have owned since new and just hit 89k, the service indicator light came on when you start the car but no lights stay on at all (no ses or anything like that), i got a call from Audi the other day about scheduling my 85k service.

Does anybody on this board have the service bulletin from Audi specifically for the 85k service on 2007 4.2 v8? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help (in advance)

It should have came with your manual packet. It's quite extensive includes transmission, quattro drive, oil etc. even a sunroof lubrication. Should be between 1200 to 1500 at the dealer. If it's out of warranty take it to a reputable Audi repair shop and save some cash.

As for the service light...that is simply an oil change reminder tied to the odometer and nothing else. Audi or other techs reset that when they change your oil. On D2 A8's it automatically trips every 10K miles. No problem in the system trips this, just the odometer.

Don't know if it works on an '07 model, but here's a link showing how to reset that light, without an OBD2 hook up, that works on 2000-2003 A8/S8:
