Just purchased an 06 A8L with ventilated seats. I found my gem over an hour away and I am very happy with the car. However, I do seem to be having a bit of a trouble finding the right setting for optimum comfort. I don't know exactly what it is but my gas leg gets a bit tired and it feels like either the piping from the seat or the seams that go across the seat are pushing on a nerve or vein. It is really weird and only noted after the longer drive. I have been futzing with the seat adjustment and I also think I am getting used to it, but the BMW 7 series I drove definitely had a bit more padding on the seats.

Any suggestions? Otherwise I love the car and I know I will solve the problem.

Since the car seat bottom has adjustable pitch I will do one of two things.
1. My preference. Tip the front edge of the seat up to raise the positioning of my knees so they don't drape on the edge. My father has a Lincoln LS and I think it is a huge pain in this way unless I do this.
2. Adjust the front edge of the seat down. IMHO it is not as comfortable, and does not alleviate the strain on the right leg, but it does take the pressure off underside of the knee.

 

Thanks for the input and I have been playing with that setting. I should clarify...my leg starts to feel tired but the pressure comes more from the hind quarters if you get my drift. I know it is just a matter of finding the right fit. The other car is a Toyota Sequoia and it has cushy seats but not very supportive when driving like a bat out of hell in the corners. I am sure it is part of my Butt just getting used to the new seats.
