great - thanks for the tip.
I bought the filter already....where can I get the washers from? I don't recall seeing them offered when I got the filter.
glad I didn't pull the filter off before getting new washers...thanks!

I got my washers from ECS. Considering the washers are 50 cents or so,might wanttry local hardware store to save on shipping cost and time. They are aluminum washers.
