wheel fitment

RE: wheel fitment
Figgy,
I wouldn't do the 20's dog. I've been ridin 20's all summer and they are a bit of a pain. Just to give you some background:
I started with 18's on my 01 2.8, they were cool but I wanted a bigger rim look. So, when I got my 00 4.2, I stepped up tot 20's. Here's the problems I faced. I kept cracking rims and going thru tires. Why?, finally I found out that the tire load rating was not sufficient for the car. Maybe it was because the 4.2 might be heavier than the 2.8, I dunno. Nevertheless, I had trouble finding a 20 inch tire that could handle the load, and when I finally did, it was still a bit too tall and threw my speedo of about 10%(if I remember), and sometimes rubbed when Iwent over some bumps and hills and nice speeds. So, that's my review. Ireally think I'm going to get 19's when the weather breaks.
