In 94 I got a 1987 Mustang GT Convertible with 87,000 miles that I bought from a Missouri Highway Patrolman for $6,000. I sold the car in 1997 and recently found out that the guy I sold it to, still has it and wants to sell it back to me.

First car I owned was at the age of 22 after building up some year of accident free motoring, was a Ford Escort Mark IV.
Insurance in the UK is expensive.
Looked similar to this one, but white with three doors.

1941 Ford Coupe- It had a V8 flat head that was soon replaced by a 1948 Merc V8 flat head and then a 56 Chev OHV 265.
If you know what a flat head is and why I put a merc motor in it - your an old fart like me.

1st car I drove was my dad's 4-door BMW 320I but then I owned a 71 mini as my first car. MY uncle was a mechanic, we bought 3 old ones and built one... looked and rode awesome! Had a De Tomaso Innocenti engone in it, was black, wood dash, small thick steering wheel... FUN. Could tsake turns on 2 wheels.. but very unreliable
