79 Camaro Z-28, but it was in the family and I drove it to school and on the weekends
otherwise my own first car was the lovely one in my sig, bought it 5 years ago when I was 18 and I'm down to my last 4 payments

In 1993 - '79 Nova w/ inline 6 when I was 14 for $450. Worked on it for 2 years before I was able to drive it at 16.
In 1997 - '88 audi 80 4 cyl when I was 18...needed more reliabilty for driving back and forth on weekends to college that was 2 hours away.
In 2000 - sold Audi 80 and wife and I shared her '95 grand am...also bought an '88 Pontiac Fiero project car and started rebuilding a 350 from an '82 vette to put in the back. (yes they fit).
In 2001 - '01 Hyundai Elantra Baby on the way, needed a family car.
In 2006 - Started driving '88 Fiero daily (project never completed
I have 4 kids now)
In 2007 - '01 Audi A6 2.8

First car
My first car was a 1959 english ford zephyer, traded my schwnn 10 speed for it.
It used a quart of oil every 30 miles!!
2nd car was a 1960 volvo 544, rolled it over to many times to count.
3rd car was a 1953 chevy, cost $50.00, ran it into a tree.
4th car, a 1958 pink chevy convertable cost $125.00. Sold it soon after because it used to much gas. This at a time when gas was 28 cents a gallon, if you can imagine!
#5 was 1955 ford st. wagon, cost $10.00, drove all summer of 69 until I wrecked it.
#6 was a 1954 chevy wagon with a slipping trans. cost $35.00, this car managed to survive until traded it in on a 1962 chevy wagon. and on and on and on......... BENG
