There's a limited freeware version, a licensed version is $100 if you have a cable, a cable with license and support starts at ~$230. It's a fantastic tool.

lol i cheated (cost effective way) I'm in uk and got vag lead from some where in florida for about £20, went to ross and downloaded vag-com software, then went on hunt on net again and found a crack so i could register the software and sorted, got whole lot with full access to to car systems for 20 quid, if you go to ross it well over 100

 

ok several of you have asked for me crack. so to save me uploadin to every audi fan you lot get it from btjunkie.org (torrent network) there newer version than i'm using out now ok

 

newbie question: what all can you do with a vag-com?

 

I have used vag-com to change my windows programming, the locks, interior motion sensor sensitivity, checked engine codes, re-adapt throttle and monitored the transmission fluid temp while checking its level.

Very useful tool, I just wish they made one for obdI BMWs.
