Default uneven tyre wear

Hello

Well actually, the tyre wear is hardly noticable, but can see that front tyres, about 10000 on it now, show a little more wear on the outside than inside, both, but driver side is clearly noticable.

Steering is ok, no wobbling, but if hands off, or sometimes when repeated breaking (no hands) the steering wheel would trun a little anticlockwise. I get the feeling that I have just apply a little, little force to keep steering wheel stright and stop it drifting anticlockwise.

Does anyone think this might be a tracking issue or a 4 wheel alignment job? Or nothing

Alignment can and will affect tire wear. Audis are known to be hard on tires, check the control arms/bushings.

Definately a wheel alignement issue.
If the outer area of the tire is wearing its most likely a toe issue. To adjust the toe you need to adjust camber first so a 4 wheel alignment is needed.
Worn upper control arm bushings won't affect tire wear enough to notice, none the less they should be checked.

If you said the wheel is turning when you are braking then your brakes may be pulling and that should be fixed ...

even though it is also noticable when braking, its not all the time, but the general drift is very slightly there, so I would agree a 4 wheel alignment will have to done, which is costly!!! eeeeeeehhhhhhhhh

more for the tax man!!!

I had this not too long ago. I went to a VW dealer since it was cheaper $100

I paid $100 for my 4 wheel alignment at PAS, a local Indy shop specialized in German cars as well as Ferrari and Lotus. They have that new machine, supposedly the best from Germany... Beizbarth or something like that
