What all am i cleaning with the rubbing alcohal mix

And would it help dry if i put it in a bag of rice

 

The mixture is clean any dirty or particles settle on the unit to cause a short. Don't dip it in the mixture, clean it as if your cleaning pc chip. But hopefully the TCM isn't fried.

I would say to go for it with bag of rice, but I wouldn't take the chance. After cleaning it, let it dry out by itself. If your in a rush then use a hair dry then let it sit in the sun for few hours.

 

I scored today i sold my gm3 turbo and found a guy with matching numbers tcm for 75$ and lived only about 45 mins from me. Ill put it in later tonight. *crosses fingers* hope she works... and to clairfy i should still let it sit on for 10 mins and turm off for more than 10 seconds then start correct

I did the waiting and all that turned it off and it worked i had all my gears back...for a block now it is back in limp mode and is trying to drive in park im so lost
