Default time for a change

so today I bought a 1982 honda accord for 300$. Yes it does run, but wow talk about joining the dark side. Anyway I bought it as a DD so that my 2.7 can become my fun project car. The first thing that I want to do is take the heads off for a thorough cleaning and rebuild. For 100K miles, I figure there might be sufficient goo build up. Do I need to replace the head studs when I pull the heads or should I just wait until I get the 2.8 heads to pull them?

My mother in law had an 84 Accord. It was a great car. But really unsafe compared to modern cars. You seem to have a fun project on your hands. enjoy

Well after having the honda for 2 days I determined that its a good little car... but OMG when I sit in the audi I am reminded how just how luxurious and sporty the audi is. I can't wait to get around to tearing the audi down and rebuilding it better, faster, stronger... but first I have to ensure the honda will get me from a to b.

Talk about a huge difference in general design paradigm. The audi must have been designed and built by people with OCD. All the hoses and lines arranged neatly (why I think it is so impossible to work on). The honda is just so ugly by comparison. Brackets and hoses just seem to be put wherever they are most convenient... its just so bizarre to see how different these cars are.
