Step by Step Secondary Air Pump Removal 2.7?

There's one bolt on the side that hold the pump bracket and it's pretty hard to get too.
I got mine out and replaced both bearings and it runs really smooth and quiet.
If you plan to replace bearings then here is a quick tip....
To remove the bearing plate by the front of the shaft I just used a fine (800-1000 grit) sand paper and sanded a little around shaft area just enough to slide the plate out (only sand right below the thread area). Then remove bearing and install in reverse order.
Thanks.

I have the replacement pump and just want to swap them out. Do you remove the bracket with the pump attached, then replace? Or just the pump from the bracket? Do I have to remove the silver Y intake to get the pump off? Thanks.

Yes, remove the Y pipe so it'll be easy to access the pump. You can try taking the pump out without the bracket but may be hard to slide the pump out. It's easier to get the whole thing out. The only issue is the bolt on the side holding the bracket.....it's a pain!!!
