Default Snow!!

So, we got our first couple flurries today in Missouri... not enough to amount to anything.. it all melted as soon as it hit the ground... but I got kind of excited. Im ready to see how the Quattro does in the snow...

So, anything special I should know about driving this in the snow?.. other than just the normal snow driving info... I have never driven this in the snow before.. so we will see what happens lol

Be prepared to be amazed at how great it is. Seriously, I owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee before my A6. The Audi will blow the Jeep out of the water any day. The only thing the Jeep had an advantage in was ground clearance...you need to be careful sometimes in the really deep stuff/in drifts. Otherwise, drive carefully. You may have all wheel drive, but you aren't invincible.

I'm getting pretty psyched, too. We're getting some flurries right now, but not enough to accumulate. This is my first year with a quattro, as well.

By the way, that's funny you would say that, Firegod. I used to have a Grand Cherokee, too - I got it stuck briefly on a drift in my driveway. lol.

lol well I used to drive a Dodge Avenger.. it had 17 inch wheels, and tires that were very similar to rubberbands... I really couldnt go anywhere if it was snowing.. that car would fishtail in about 1" of snow. It sucked lol

I live in the Poconos and we actually got over half a foot, it was great. But concerning four wheel drive SUV's such as the Grand Cherokee, my mom had a one with Quadra Drive, which was good, but on the other hand I think all wheel drive in comsumer use is maybe better, for example, the M class, X5,ect... have all wheel drive systems, not a traditional 4x4 system.

The Quadra Drive was AWD, too, but it also had 4-HI.

Touaregs are really good looking SUV's, in my opinion. I really liked my Jeep, too. 16mpg isn't such a good thing right now, though.

Nice, one of my favriote rims from jeep, I also had a jeep, a 1999 limited with quadra, in that red color with the gold tinted rims, they showed it on the owners manuel, i forget the name of the color seinna maybe, in my opinion the of best overall american luxery SUVs, i sold due to gas and a transfer case that was going bad

Sweet!! Is it sorta like this??

I really like that colour. But, yeah, I really loved my Jeep. It felt sooo much more solid than most all of the American cars that my family's been through. Gas mileage was about the only thing I actually disliked about it.
