Replacing the Serpentine Belt

Replacing the Serpentine Belt
OEM manual identifies the use of tool 3299 to release belt tensioner. Well, i used a 19mm open end wrench along with a 2ft - 1/2" pvc pipe. Placing the open end onto the tensioner and place the pvc pipe on the boxed end, press down / HOLD to release tensioner. Also, it was a lot easier and faster to remove the lower engine cover to install the belt over crankshaft pulley and alternator. Task takes approx. 20 mins.
