Rear Seat

Rear Seat
Hi. These directions are for removing the rear seat bottom, which are taken from my Bentley Manual.
First (1st): It advises to disconnect the negative terminal from your battery (make sure that you have your radio security code before disconnecting power, or you will lose the ability to use the radio once power is reconnected).
Second (2nd): Lift up on the front and outside edges of the seat cushion...look for a small release tabs on the front bottom edge of the cushion. There should be three total in the front of each seat position at the lower edge just above the carpeting.
Caution/Warning:: Prior to step three, ensure that you discharge any static electricity by touching or grabbing the metal door striker or chasis.
Third (3rd): Once the seat cushion is loose, look for and disconnect the wiring connectors for both the rear side airbags and seat heaters if equipped.
Lastly, installation is the reverse of removal procedure.
Good Luck! It sounds straight foward enough. Let me know how it goes.
