Rear passenger brake light and turn signal don’t work
I’ve already posted that issue, but still don’t have any solutions. My rear brake light and a turn signal stop working in a few minutes after I start driving.
Here is what‘s happening. I may drive for an hour or just for a few minutes and the rear brake indicator warning gets on, the rear turn signal stops working also. I stop the engine, crank it back again and everything is working for another few minutes. I checked the circuit, brake switch, fuses and they are okay. Can it be a computer issue? Cause, again, it works after I turn the ignition off and back on. (but only for a few minutes and then it beeps again )
Thanks

If it's turning on a MIL pull the codes either free at autozone etc. or with a vagcom. See what that tells you.
Your control modual could be messed up.
hear that is common in 98-01 when I was researching them but I thought the problem caused the Antilock brakes to stop working.
NO BLOWN FUSES?
If so. You may have a short. Burnt or pinched wire that is heating up as you use it.

The light bulb itself could also do this.. good cold, bad hot.

Sorry, I did not mention the model. It is a 2006 A6.
All bulbs are okay, I replaced the whole tail lifgt assembly and the result was the same. I don't think there is a short or cold/hot issue. When I turn it off and instantly on the light is working.
