I've driven a couple Jeep CJ7s in all sorts of snow as well as a wide variety of FWDs. Bar none, the A6 is the best winter/snow car I have ever driven. It is sure-footed, comfortable, and the ABS and EPS work great.

We have an A6 3.0l and I have no reason that it would be just as good, albeit with a smaller form factor and about 400-500lbs less weight.

i think quattro is the best AWD system. subaru is not too far off either tho...
