Pentosin Question

Pentosin Question
I have the parts and will be tackling an Aux Coolant Pump change tomorrow but have a question.
I asked the auto parts guys that are normally spot on to order some Pentosin G12 but they said that the replacement for that type is Pentofrost++. I believe I will only need to add a little bit after the maintenance to refill the tank and according to parts, I can mix Pentofrost++ with the fluid already in the system.
Is this correct or do I need a new parts guy?
Thanks in advance...
Edit: 2004 A6 Sline 2.7T

Your parts guy is OK. Its essentially the same thing. Not sure how much coolant is lost when you do the aux pump, but you wont have any problems as long as the coolant that is currently in your car is indeed G12.

Thanks 02A6Beau,
The coolant is pink and was replaced at the dealership when the TB was done. I think it's Pentosin SF (no silicates) and the ++ has silicates (also pink). Wasn't sure if that was a problem but just to be sure, I'm going to have parts ship in the SF and do an exchange.
