There are two videos on the cheap-abs website, one with removing the brake lines and one without. I did the one without. The car has no problem running without the module, they never had abs back in the 70's and they were fine lol.

Thanks for your useful replies. I did remove ABS module according to video. I am just about to send it for repair, what I will definitelly do tommorow.

But my problem is not missing ABS, but Parking Brake Malfunction beeping. So you are saying that even with ABS module repaired I will still hear that annoying noise?

We do not need ABS that much here in Arizona. So missing ABS is no big deal. But that beeping is really killing my life You still have it, or just lights?

Only send the module in if you having an abs problem. I had an abs problem and the parking brake malfunction light/beep. Repairing the module only fixed the abs problems, not the parking brake. That light is still on and beeps once after starting my car. Still have no idea what it is as my brake does engage.

UPDATE:

Just received a package from CheapABS.com, with my broken module repaired. I did not hesitate and immediately installed it into my car. And then... miracle! All ABS, ESP, parking brake, brake all warning lights suddenly dissapear. Everything seems to be fixed now. Well, my "check engine light" is on, but that could be unrelated to an ABS issue. I will fetch and reset codes tomorrow.

PS: when I said I do not have an ABS problem, I meant non-working ABS is not an issue for me. I live in Arizona and ABS is not very required here. But that parking brake beeping really drove me crazy. And now it is fixed, thanks to Matt from CheapABS.com. Great work!!

Default 2005 Audi A6 Parking Brake

The parking brake will not release after it is engaged. Could this be caused by a faulty switch? No indicator lights come on.
