Default newbie ? about diverter valve. (flame alert!)

I have searched this forum considering BOV's and the Audi closed loop system. I just purchased an 03 A6 2.7T for my wife.

I am considering changing the diverter valves to see if when accelerating and decelerating I can hear any of the pressure being recirculated. My wife would love to bea able to hear the BOV sound, but at this point any sound distinguishing it from ans NA car would be great. Is this possible?

I know this is going to get flamed beyond belief ad I am ready for it

Any input on a louder DV would be appreciated.

I thought of a BOV from LLtek. I did alot of research, plus consulted my mechanic who works on euros specifically, and everything came back as there is really no increase from BOV's to aftermarket diverter valves. I ended up purchasing HX Diverter valves from Stratmosphere. They made a huge difference from the factory Bosch. The turbo lag in my car has been greatly reduced.

I wouldn't buy something just to separate yourself from everyone else. Research it and buy it because it is beneficial for your car.

There is also a substancial difference in the cost!

My 2.7T runs great!

Thanks for the info. I have been considering the EVOMS diverter valves. I just want something for her car so that she hears the whoosh sound, even if it is minimal. I would love to use a BOV, it just isn't possible on the Audi unless you get a hybrid that you can adjust the percentage of VTA to recirculation (50/50).

If anyone has any other input, please do so.

Thanks
