Default new guy: pre-owned a6 due bill?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself before I ask for everyone's opinion. Hope everyone's doing well.

I'm currently awaiting a loan approval for a 2006 A6 and couldn't help but scour the internet for as much information as I could.

I've been reading about the MMI and whatnot and was wondering if I should ask the dealership to upgrade it. Also, it's at 31k miles and I was debating waiting for the next service date or asking them to do service it before I take it home. I figure oil change and transmission fluid change. Maybe even ask for a sunshade or something.

With fingers crossed, I'm hoping that you guys can give me some ideas as to what I can ask of the dealership before I sign, and I'll be getting it on Monday! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I thought Audi came with a 4 year - 50k mile free maintenance. If so, just make sure the dealership does the regular service. Obviously it was due for the 30k. And make sure you exercise every feature and button and have them fix any that don't work. As far as MMI, ask them what the current software release is and then have them proactively upgrade yours.

thanks guys!
the manual says 25k service and then 35k service. however, the car was serviced with 21k, thus i figure I should just ask for a service anyways being that it's been almost 10k miles. I'll check up on the MMI software and see if they will upgrade.
