NEED HELP RIGHT NOW EMERGENCY!! seafoam disaster!
Hey so I just now started to attempt to seafoam my AUDI A6 2.8L QUATTRO 1998.
A few problems, my intake hose doesnt suck so I'm assuming I tried to pour the seafoam down the wrong tube.
Its ok I only poured about a shot's worth and the engine started to smoke so i turned off the car.
Please review these pictures and tell me if I'm connected right and WHY the intake hose is not sucking.

Yes that is the correct hose you are using, it may not be sucking much because of the funnel you are using, you don't really need the funnel for this. Smoke coming out of the engine is normal and ok if it does come out.
Or it may be that your pump may be bad if you don't feel it. Although it would usually throw a code if it was.

I dont know what he means by 'suction pump' but you are doing it right. When you use seafoam it is breaking down all the carbon buildups in the combustion chamber and it is supposed to smoke white out of the exhaust. I have used seafoam on some cars that smoked so bad that you couldnt see anything behind it. If it smokes white while you are pouring the seafoam in that just means its cleaning correctly.

The suction pump. Or the hose that you use to put the seafrom through on our Audi. Or to make it easier for you it is also know as the PCV hose.

The suction pump is part of your PCV (Positive crank ventilation) if you have an auto tranny you should hear this pump every morning when you start the motor and turn off after 20-30 secs.
