Need Help with OBD II Codes
Ok guys I am reading my own codes now...BUT, I am lost on a couple of them. They are listed below. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
By the way I am using the auto scanner by UIF Technology.
41A5 - catalyst / main catalyst system efficiency too low
4471 - Bank 1, Probe 1, Internal resistance too great
4483 - Bank 2, Probe 1, Internal resistance too great
45A7 - Secondary air inlet valve - short to earth / short to positive
4596 - Temp. sensor for exhaust gas recirc.-G98 implausible signal
462d - Charge pressure control regulating limit surpassed.
I know there's a few that are bouncing off the main issues, but I am not sure how to know which is which. I also know that the stealership said my secondary air pump was "going out," and it has gotten somewhat noisy.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

RE: Need Help with OBD II Codes
41A5= one or more of your cats are faulty
4471= passenger's side sensor 1 O2 sensor is faulty (replace)
4483= driver's sid sensor 1 O2 sensor is faulty (replace)
45A7= possible secondary air pump faulty
4596= one of your EGT sensors are faulty (replace)
462D= one of your boost lines are leaking or not connected, possible line coming off of the wastegate or faulty wastegate solinoid. If its a 2.7T engine check the rubber pipe that looks like a y going into the throttle body on top of the engine, it usually rips in the center of the y.

RE: Need Help with OBD II Codes
perhaps aVAG fault code reader would be better, the codes you give are from an eBay sale ( although good ) they dont conform to VAG/manufacturer codes ( P000 ),
I have that tool and quite good it is so ill look them up tomorrow and compare with proper codes
