my flip key got wet and is not working
#2
As far as I know, the door lock is purely mechanical and does not depend on the battery or electronic handshake from the key. It should turn the lock. 1-Did it work before it got wet? 2-Try squirting a little wd-40 in the locks (I do this periodically for the drivers door and the trunk locks). If it does not turn with the ignition key, then it is possible the door lock was changed at some time but not keyed correctly. Do you have a second key that works?
