It doesnt really pulll side to side, it just shakes at higher speeds (50mph+). I hope the dealer wasnt lying to me and just saying its the tie rods. So i hope these are the typical symptoms of the tie rods going bad.

it is a symptom of a bad end but how many miles do you have on the car because they usually go around 70k ... id stat by replacing them if you are around 70k also if u put your front end in the air you can see if they are bad by grabing a tire and trying to twist it back and fourth like you were turning the steering wheel and it wont move much (obv. bc the u wont be able to turn the wheel much at all bc the car is off and its is hard!) but if there is like an inch of slop or play and there is movement then the tierod is bad n needs to be replaced ...

Thanks Joetm. I have just gone over 84,000 miles. I actually lifted it today and this is what it looked like when lifted. [img=http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/4374/badoutertierodjs3.th.jpg] The tire wasnt removed so I dont know if that had anything to do with it. I've read around and it seems pretty easy to replace. There was also little play.

yea i cant tell anything from that pic lol ... This is what Id do

replace the tierods and then get your wheels balanced if it doesnt go away then your wheel probably isnt tru ... but if you dont see any dents or anything it proably isnt that
