MY A6 CAUGHT FIRE.... 10 minutes after it was bought

RE: MY A6 CAUGHT FIRE.... 10 minutes after it was bought
well for a couple of reasons...
1. I would rather not have this hit my insurance especially since I didnt have the car for 10 minutes.
2. They might, slight chance, hook me up with a deal or help me replace the car with something comparable.
its just a thought but then again I know I called them and they said that the car was in for a warranty check, and the last time it was in was in 2004, right around the time that the recall came out... so I dont know.. but I am going to contact audi on monday and see what they say

well that's simple "its just a car change" the problem doesn't need to be reported to the insurance its to be kept between you and the seller don't tell the insurance company other wise you will create a history and that's not good

RE: MY A6 CAUGHT FIRE.... 10 minutes after it was bought
i already reported it.... I have to otherwise I am putting myself in jeopardy of losing 16g's....
the dealer is saying that he will give me another car, a better value, at the same price...
my question is this... could the dealer that sold me the car be responsible for neglecting the recall???
it seems as though unless I want to persue this legally I am not going to get much further than the insurance company.

its not a question of pursuing the seller he did the right thing so your insurance company cant hold it against you regardless, if they did and if they did you can pursue a claim against them for deformation of character "you did nothing wrong" so you want proof they wont harm your claims bonus
