hey, well my opinion, i think mud flaps are sexy, especially if you have 18's on , it adds more body to the car, and protection, as long as you put the origional full bodied ones on , mine looks great and compliments the 18's. and from where im from, audis dont rust, well at least nothing from a 90 model upwards.

Really? The cop can change it back to the original?! That’s not good. I live in Pennsylvania. It was a stat cop. I will have to check on that, because that would be bad. I usually just go to court for every ticket no matter how guilty i was. Although he did make a point at the bottom about my "actual speed" .... i should probably let this one slide.
I do have the 18' RS rims on mine. What are these original full bodied ones you're talking about? Could be a good option rather then taking ones off and on every winter.
Brake <--> Break ...I saw that, but was too late to fix.

Just fitted (genuine Audi) front mudflaps to my allroad, and they look good and do the business!
As I live in a country area, there is a lot of mud etc on the roads in winter, grit was finding it's way just under the door. The flaps have eliminated this problem, and much reduced any dirt throwback along the underside of the car.
Still wondering about fitting the rear ones.

I have them on my A6 from new. They are the stock OEM moulded ones and look great. They fill out the arches nicely and are in proprtion too. Look good and do a great job of keeping the paintwork in great shape front n rear

Go to court. Tell them you never saw the sign, but you were passing a semi, so you could have missed it. The judge may give you a break on the points. He is, after all, an elected official!
