Motor caught on fire and blew
So I might need some assistance, I had my engine replaced in my A6
last year. The dealership gave me a used 2002 Audi motor with 55thou miles on it. The motor is twin turbo or bi turbo however audi calls it lol.
Well I was driving the other night and the engine started smoking and then went up in flames and ended up blowing the car.
Well I talked to the dealership and its not under warranty anymore so they basically laughed, does anybody know of any recalls or anything or what I should do?

First off, thank God you were able to get out of it before the blast!
Now, doesn't your car insurance suppose to cover an incident such as this? Do you have a comprehensive coverage?
If you do, then the LOSS due to FIRE should be included under the Comprehensive coverage, hence your Insurance company should pay you the value of the car prior to the fire. Of course, you need to contact them and submit a claim.
