Be advised that coilovers are going to have the harshest ride of all of them. Just be prepared to feel EVERY bump in the road.
I know where you are coming from but its all in the adjustment!

I bought some H&R Sports, and will be buying Koni yellow's that have dampening controls on them. I didn't feel like paying 1800 on coilovers that would give height adjustment.....how often will I ever change the height anyway?

I also plan on putting some 20's in the near future.

I will definitely be adjusting mine, since I live where we can get a decent amount of snow and I put my factory wheels on for the winter months so having the adjustablilty is an asset for me.

Irode in an A6 with H&R and it rode very nicely for a lowered car, less harsh than mine.

And if you get adjustable ones suchs PSS9 or V3's, you can adjust dampening too.

Don't mean to be a pain, I just want to help, but that is my setup and it is harsh on anything bbut new supersmooth roads, just make sure that's what you want for everyday... It does look good and handle great but it is harsh!!!
Also the dampening comes to the softest settiog form the facotry and mine is on the softest setting in case you were gonna ask. I even removed them a second time to double check cause I could not beleive how hard they were.
Here's how it looks though. (oh BTW, my 4.2 door blades are coming )

I'm running H&R sports with bilstein's. 1.75 drop in the front and 1.5 in the rear on 19x8.5 all around. Ride is good but a little rough. I don't care though cause that's the look I had to have. Good luck.
Your ride is so nice and clean, Silver is a great color.
Your rims and lowering are real nice. What rims are those?

Thanks, to be honest I think your ADR's look just as nice as BBS. If you don't mind me asking, how much do they go for? How much do they weigh?
I like how low mine is for looks but it is not always practical and rides rough I am considering PSS9 to fix that if I keep the car.
Short term upcoming mods are getting my new door blades painted and then putting them on, then Hela Smoked tail lights, maybe rear S8 rear brake conversion and front brake upgarde, ECS tuning kit if I can get it at cost...

Thanks man,
To tell you the truth, they aren't that exspensive. I got them from an ebay seller and paid around 1000.00 for the set. They weigh in the neighborhood of around 25lbs a piece. I just really liked the look and I couldn't beat the price. What area of the country are youin by the way. I'm outside of atlanta. Thansk again and take care.

Ia mnot too far from you.
I am in Charlotte. I sometimes go to Atlanta to theFrench consulate to take care of formalities. Bought my secnod Aussie form a breeder around Atlanta. Drove the A6 there to pci him up last year.

I love your ADR's, my wheels are lighter but for the $ .. S---T I would consider selling my RSGT (they ar $1000/each new) with tires and buying ADR's, use the profit for more MODS!!

BTW, we have started a car club/forum for Euro enthusiasts, you should check in and maybe joon. We hold meets ni NC and SC all the time. I think we have a member from GA At least one official meet/mnoth each state , rides, dyno days... e'll be at the GMP Fallout in October and BREMotorsoprt in October with 4WD dyno...
Check us out.
