Here is my replyto your thread on AudiZine:

Don't forget that the area covered by the badges have many years less of dirt and wax etc. buildup. First, I sugset that you give the trunk a good claybar to remove any dirt buildup that might existalong the edges of the badge "ghost." Then, give the surface a good polish (Menzerna Intensive Polish or similar), and then give it a good wax for protection.

If there is still a lot of "color" difference, it might be that the paint exposed to the sun all those years might be faded from the sun, but I have a light silver car, I debadged it, and I do not have the same issue.

Good luck![/align]

Why would you want to debadge a $40K+ car, you got a Audi, not a Honda, if you have a 2.7T, advertise it, why hide it.

Then all you got to do is pop the hood and proove them wrong. (Unless you have the 2.8 model). Or if they still dont believe you, tap the gas and hear those turbos whine!

I also agree it looks much cleaner and I really don't care about showing people my 4.2 badge.

Because some people are more concerned about looks than "advertising" what they have. It's a concept known as modesty....and the car looks incredible without badges.

Seems a bit harsh calling someone's ride a Bulls_it model. It is prety much common feeling that the car looks a lot sleaker with the badges removed. I would even like to remove the Audi circles and let people think its a Hyundi. I really don't care if anyone but me likes the look.
