installing O2 sim. what 12V to use?

installing O2 sim. what 12V power to use?
trying to install some O2 sims, they need 12V source not coming from the O2 harness and only on when ignition is on. anyone else using these?...where did you end up mounting them?
where should i get the 12v power from???

Be careful with electrical o2 simulators in general. If you must, I would suggest spacers for the o2 sensor (search spark plug anti fouler, or o2 spacers) instead of the electrical unit if you have issues with your catalytic converter. If your o2 sensors are bad, then I really recommend replacing the sensors.

O2 sim sends uniform signal to the engine. Some have adjustable feed, but the signal does not adjust automatically, meaning your ECU will set the mixture at one value. This will impact 2 things.
1. Incorrect mixture will affect the performance of the car. It can be severe enough that the can can run like ****.
2. More importantly, if you have perfectly working catalytic converters, incorrect mixture will foul that up very quickly. As we all know, our converters are not cheap.
