The price is great, but the seller doesn't list any manufacturer or brand name and the warranty is not very good...it only warranties the rotors for 60 days. If you go into any part stores, almost all brakes and rotors being sold these days come with at least a 1 year, if not a lifetime warranty. But Please...don't let my opinion discourage you from getting what you want. Since the seller is on ebay you can always check into their feedback score to see how others have felt about their product and service. Good Luck with your car and remember a second opinion never hurts...especially when you're spending your hard earned money.
Yea man i really did thanks again. Hard earned money thats what its all about haha. I don't know man its sounds pretty cheap 140 bucks for pads and rotors and i am wandering if those pads have the sensor on them, is that a must? Whoever this seller is is 10 minutes for my place and i can always check it out and not buy it i guess, thanks anyways.

By warped rotors he means that the brake rotors are warped, bent, and thats why u have that shaking shuttering only when u brake. And if your payin 140 for brakes and pads...chances are they dont have the sensor on them but the sensors are not necessary, but you will have that (O) light on your dash saying ur pads are worn...ive had mine for a while.

I have a question, I've never actually looked at the sensors in the pads but the wires going to the sensors, could i just cut them and crimp them together? wouldnt that make the light go away? For all i know there could be multiple wires, more than just a power and a ground.

Yes warped/bent rotors can cause shaking, just think of it logically, if you know how brakes work, you'll realize that if the rotors are bent, the brake pads will be forced out of place deffinately causing some shaking.

I can't believe a trained/experienced tech said that.

SilverAudiv6 --- Run --don't walk away from your "trusted brake mechanic" he is full of crap..

Warped rotor cause shaking and pulsations at all speeds when the brake peddle is pressed and sometimes when the peddle is not pressed. The only time it dosen't happen is if the wheels are not turning.

PS you asked about the IAC in another thread --- just leave it there - don't complicate this thread with another subject.

Last brake change was 2 or 3 years ago, self installed.

$350.00
for 4 brembo rotors
Axis ceramic pads all around (won't buy again)

Warped rotors will cause a pulsing in the brake pedal (and sometimes in the steering wheel) when the brakes are applied. I don't agree that you will experience a pulse or vibration just from warped rotors when the car is free wheeling. They are not out of balance, just warped due to something cold (water, snow) hitting very hot metal.

Brake work done by my indie shop July 07: replaced rear rotors with Centrex, turned front rotors (not normally done, but I requested it and there is a slight pulse to them), and replaced all pads with low dust. Total was $520 OTD.

Next time, I will definitely replace the front rotors (may go with drilled if I can find some for a reasonable price) and probably the rears as well. I do a lot of highway driving and have 59k miles on these pads.
