How to fix/solder the ABS-unit?
Hello!
I would like an opinion from someone with a bit more abs-fixing/soldering experience then I.
I had the 'no signal to instrument cluster' problem and found the instructions for fixing the abs-unit. Used some silver paint attach the aluminum wire to its gold plate. It worked nice the error code disappeared.
However a new error code appeared shortly after It complains about the front left abs sensor. The front left abs sensor has its goldplates right next to the aluminum wire. So my guess is that I managed to break one of those tiny gold wires.
Now to the question, what would be the best way to fix a gold wire? Trying with the silver paint or soldering a (larger) copper wire?
/Thankful for answers

Send it to BBA Reman in Massachusetts. They will rebuild it for about $150 and have it back to you in a week. If you want you can get one sent to you and they will put a hold on your credit card until you return the core. They do good work.
