Default HID kit 35w or 55w and what color

Hey, I've got a 2000 2.7t with halogens. I am going to be upgrading to HID. Looking at the ddm ones. I am really debating on which ones I want between 35w and 55w. Also I want the color to be as white as possible, no blue and no yellow (at all for the yellow). Thinking their 4500k or 5000k will do the trick. Does anyone have any experience with these and their acutal results? Any input is appreciated. Just looking for a clean white look.
Thanks

FOR OEM LOOK IN FIXTURE/ROAD:
35w = 4500k
55w = 5000k

I own both 35 & 55w DDM kits and 4500 & 5000k bulbs. In the past I had 6000k 35w bulbs and they look blue/purple. I don't care what anybody says, 6000k looks aftermarket.

Every car manufacturers headlight fixture shapes the light differently. Our 4500k 35w kit in our 3 series is very blue, but white in the A6. I don't care if your mother's sister's brother's wife's TL has 6k in them and they look great. Don't compare HIDs from any other manufacturer. They don't use the same fixture so you can't compare them.

Now I know what color I'm getting

Is there a noticeable difference in the amount of light between the 35w and the 55w? Thats the other thing that I am hung up on.

Unless the pics are of Audi projectors then comparing pics online will be of no help. The 55w kit is brighter than the 35w but not as much as you would hope. But from DDM it is only 15 dollars and it definitely is worth the extra 15 dollars.

4500/5000 will not look any different than a stock C5 A6. If you want the Honda look like in the TL then go with the 35w 5k or 6k 55w.

Thanks thats what I needed. If its worth the $15 than I'll definitely go with the 55w. Since I want the stock white look it looks like it'll be the 55w 5000k's.

Thanks again for the help.

55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output..For example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit..

SO u'd better choose 55w 6k slim hid kit http://www.vvme.com/12v-5055w-h1-hid...cPath=44_45_14 for low beam....
H7 for high beam....
