Sup ya'll. I just bought an A6, and I love it. But... The headlights suck. Projector lens but with the halogen bulbs... Any one recommend any certain HID kits?

im guessing its a 98-00? since it has projector halogens.. but i would highly highly recommend 4300K hids nothing higher with the halogen projectors, mainly because they give out the most light. they also look stock and are still purpleish white from oncoming.. i would recommend this guy http://www.kusoz.com/ ive gotten all my friends to get em from him and myself.

Sorry guys, didn't think to shed the details. Its a 2000 A6 2.7Tq. I was in the process of fighting with my wife, so I was trying to type it as fast as possible.

4300k, is that a plug and play system? or do I have to rewire the headlights? I suppose I can just check the site, I'm a dumb ***, sorry. Don't answer that question.

I got both fog's and headlights from vvme.com

cheapest online, i got them from china to usa in 5 days, easy to wire up, Some people think its hit or miss with them, but im happy

only thing i would do over would be to get the 4300K instead of the 6000k i got... they are bluer than i expected, I knew they claim a slight blue, but the blue they give off is more than the picture on their website... oh well.

HID conversion has been my favorite mod, to any car ive ever had.... hardest part is mounting the ballast.

I initially had 6000k as well, sold the bulbs and bought 4300k replacement bulbs. They were blue on the road and looked purple/blue in the fixtures. They clearly looked aftermarket. If I were to buy bulbs again, I would look into 5000k. Probably the best mix between OEM look and newer ellipsoid fixture color look.

I like the blue look, just curious how blue before I invest in these.
