HELP!!! Limp mode!
Hey guys, I have a 99 a6 2.8 Recently some codes popped up after I sprayed "A/C pro" into my air to fix my A/C. No more than 5 days later my car went into limp mode and now I have these codes;
p1426
p0102
p0411
p1857
I bought a new maf sensor and nothing, now I have no idea where to go. Can you help?

P1426-Evap purge valve. check your fuel cap, most common cause
P0102-MAF signal too low. try MAF cleaner, since you already replaced the sensor, check the wiring/connector
P0411-SAI incorrect flow. just ignore it for now, not a big deal
P1857-Load signal error from ECU. Some stored code in the ECU is messing with you
Nothing I'm seeing from what you posted would put you in limp mode except the ECU code. If your scanner clears codes, clear them and see what comes back. If not disconnect your battery for like, an hour, then reconnect it and see what you still have. make sure you know your radio code if you are going to dc the battery.
oh, yeah, Willkommen to the forums
good luck
have fun

Awesome! I cleared the codes and it came back on about 30 seconds later. I ton my battery off for a hour, put my radio in safe mode, but didn't clear the codes. i wil check my wires now and unplug my battery again.
Any other suggestions?

you will need a vag specific scanner, like vag-com with VCDS, unless the scanner you have will scan the trans module. If it is a transmission problem it is either a sensor, or the TCM. Unless you can access the TCM with the scanner, it is difficult to narrow down.
The TCM is on the passenger floor board under the carpet. check for moisture damage or connection issues. A lot of times our cars have "drainage" issues when the drains get clogged and the floor gets wet on the passenger side, damaging the TCM
good luck
