where can i find a good HID kit to match up with the stock one on the passengers side? is there a wiring diagram for 2001 a6 207t on the net somewhere that i can see how the ballast, ignitor, and wiring runs?

 

Try the parts importer sites i mentioned earlier for genuine, or u will have to search the HID sites that stock the a Philips or Hella kit

B4 u buy make sure u ask what brand, the cheap Asian ones are really not worth it

From memory the stcok HID bulb output is 4200 - 4300K

Philips now sell a conversion kit, which a lot of Auto stores will be able to get

As fo the wiring diagram i dont know?

This will be much cheaper than OEM, dont know if u have the rite headlamp for the HID though, thats the 1st thing u must find out b4 u go any further

can i install an h1 hid kit and keep the ds2 hid on passenger side, or would that look absolutely stupid? its an h1 halogen bulb in drivers side right now. maybe a dumb question, i dunno.

 

I'm just trying to picture the headlite, i belive the HID is suppose to have the projector for it?
If u other headlamp (one with the halogen) doesnt have the projector and u use the H1 conversion kit, the light will look diff and not as focused

From memory the conversion kits use the D2R bulbs that use the refector - there for the light output will be diff

If u have the projector already present then u will need the D2S bulb and will look similar
